All of the used golf balls (lakeballs) sold at tfp-Golf are guaranteed playable and without cuts.
The grading is based on a cosmetic scale.
Generally speaking, the better looking the ball, the higher the grade.

Basic grading statements:

Corporate or club logos are not considered as user markings or as a deterrent to the value of a golf ball. You may find a corporate or club logo on any grade of ball that we sell.

• You will never find a cut in any of the balls that we sell. All of our balls are playable.
• User markings are kept to a minimum. One or two black dots under the name are considered a minimal user mark.
• Color and shine are crucial in the grade of a ball. Our golf balls are white - we never sell any "brown" golf balls. We do not sell a "dull" or "flat" golf ball. Even our grade 1C balls shine.

Grade 1A:

Our grade 1A golf balls are perfect for the tournament player who wants a ball that is like new but has the competitive price of a lakeball.

Our grade 1A balls:

• Have a look and feel of a golf ball that has been very slightly used
• Have a consistent color and shine throughout the package
• Have either no or very small user markings
• Have either no or very slight scuffs or scratches
• No X-outs

Grade 1B:

The grade 1B gollf balls are ideal for the average weekend player. You won't be embarrassed to tee them up, you won't have any performance degradation, and you won't lose a small fortune if they take an errant flight into the hazard.

The 1B balls are:

• A very clean and playable golf ball that has been used but not abused
• A consistent color and shine throughout the package although not as brilliant as our highest grade
• Small user markings could be present
• Slight scuffs or scratches could be present
• No X-outs

Grade 1C:

These balls are ideal for the golfer who wants an outstanding value at a great price. Grade 1C balls are well suitable for play on the course.

Grade 1C balls are:

• A clean and playable golf ball that has been used but not abused
• The have a variable color and shine throughout the package, however, none of the balls will appear dull, flat, or brown.
• Small to moderate sized user markings could be present
• Small to moderate scuffs or scratches could be present
• X-outs can be included in this grade
